Our Mission:

The Reality Check staff is comprised of two Sophomores, five Juniors, three Seniors, and our advisor, Mariana Cozzella. Reality Check is a self funded peer-to-peer group focused on highlighting struggles of the LGHS student body that are usually taboo. All stories are anonymous and written by LGHS students. The stories we collect represent about 1% of the LGHS student body, but the topics we choose are relevant to today’s teenagers in any school.  

     

As a staff, we aim to publish personal experience pieces rather than opinion pieces. Each issue contains an article that is written by one of our school's mental health professionals that provides insight and advice on the month’s topic. Please note that the ideas expressed in Reality Check are each individual student's own, and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or policies of the Reality Check staff or Los Gatos High School.
